Traveling in NY and NJ Next Week

My deepest appreciation goes to the officers, members, and visitors at Union Lodge 6 in Washington, D.C. for their warm hospitality at their barbecue on Saturday. I had a terrific time in a very informal setting, swapping stories with Pierre "Pete" Normand about our experiences in the Masonic publishing world.  Pete published his American Masonic Review between 1991 and 94, ending just four years before I entered the fraternity, and our experiences were very, very different. The changes that occurred across a very short time period were astonishing to explore.

I'm traveling to areas outside of New York City next week.

First, I will be speaking on Monday evening, June 13th at Cincinnati Lodge No. 3, located at 39 Maple Ave., Morristown, NJ.
Lodge will open at 7:30 PM, and buffet dinner will follow.
A limited number of 75 tickets are available, and are $20.
To RSVP, contact Brother Brian Mandel at bkmandel@optonline.net

The next evening, I will be speaking at New York's
Alcyone Lodge No. 695 on Tuesday, June 14th 2016.
The lodge is located at 162 Main St, Northport (on Long Island), New York 11768
Dinner starts at 7 PM
Dinner $25 donation
Lodge opens for work at 8 PM promptly, and will be open to Entered Apprentices.

At both events, I should have a few books available for those who want them.

Your comments will not appear immediately because I am forced to laboriously screen every post. I'm constantly bombarded with spam. Depending on the comments being made, anonymous postings on Masonic topics may be regarded with the same status as cowans and eavesdroppers, as far as I am concerned.
